About the Role

To provide accurate and timely revenue and gross profit accounting and reporting.  To oversee intercompany accounting, ensuring an efficient process and agreement of intercompany balances between entities.

Duties:

  • Ensure that revenue and cost of sales is correctly accounted for on a monthly basis in each business within UK Processing 
  • Review gross margin and explain variances to budget and KPIs
  • Work with the FP&A team to align the accounting and reporting with weekly insight reports, correctly reflecting operational performance
  • Coordinate the intercompany accounting process to ensure that transactions are correct and work with finance teams in other areas of the business to agree the intercompany balances between the various entities

Skills and experience:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Strong excel spreadsheet skills
  • Use of SAGE accounting system preferred but not essential
  • Proactive approach to resolving queries
  • Strong collaborative style
  • Preferable experience of working in industry rather than purely audit firm experience
