About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated HGV Class 2 Driver to join Peak Waste, a leading waste management provider and a proud member of the Beauparc Group. Based in Ashbourne (DE6 1JF), we specialize in sustainable resource recovery and are looking for a reliable professional to join our team.

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of our operations, driving a range of modern HGV Class 2 vehicles to collect and transport trade waste. You'll ensure safe and efficient collections, contributing directly to our mission of creating a cleaner, greener future.

Key Benefits & Compensation
  •  Pay: A great hourly rate of £17, with overtime available.
  •  Bonuses: You can earn an extra £25 for attendance and another £25 for your daily vehicle check.
  •  Work-Life Balance: This is a stable, full-time position with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule and early starts around 5 am.
  •  Modern Fleet: Drive well-maintained vehicles with advanced safety features.

Your Responsibilities
  • Plan efficient routes to maximize productivity.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring sites are left tidy.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
  • Maintain accurate records via a tablet.
  • Adhere to all safety and waste regulations.

What We're Looking For
  • A valid Category C licence, a current Driver CPC, and a Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Previous experience in the waste sector is preferred.
  • Good route knowledge of Derbyshire and surrounding areas.
  • A safety-focused and customer-centric approach.
  • Physical fitness for manual handling tasks.
